The Eastern Maryland Meet & Greet Team was off this Saturday, so my kids got to visit our Western Maryland teammates.  And what a crowd of beautiful Great Danes there were!!!

This beautiful bevy of Danes are left to right:
  • Harlequin Dane boy Dempsey who who owns Maryland Volunteer Coordinator Rosie Smiga.  Dempsey has recovered from several severe injuries, the last thanks to Karin Serejski and her holistic healing regimen. Dempsey is our 'smiling Dane' and we're delighted to see him back at his MAGDRL Dane Ambassador post.

  • Mantle marked Merle Dane boy Capone who owns Western Maryland Meet & Greet Co-Coordinator Cindy Prevost. Capone earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate and his Therapy Dog International (TDI) certificate this year. All that, plus he has a wonderful personality!

  • Piebald Merle Dane girl Merlot, the Princess of the team, belongs to me. Merlot is noisy and busy, nevertheless her outgoing personality does a phenomenal job of fundraising for our orphans. That flirty lean she's doing with Capone is her signature move!

  • Fawnequin Dane boy Jupiter also owns me. He's also CGC and TDI, and has proudly represented MAGDRL at events every weekend for the past three years.

Not pictured here are other MAGDRL volunteers who came out to support this event. They include Greg Mooradian (husband of Maryland Publicity Coordinator Lori Mooradian) and his Dane boy Bentley and girl Blue; MAGDRL Training Coordinator Tressa Everts, her son Connor and her foster "Danatian" boy Skip Jack; volunteer Jennifer Lefevre and her husband; new volunteer Stephanie Dean and her husband; and Prof of Paws student Dane boy Rusty Moonshine who owns Lakshme Somerswaran.
